¡Hola de nuevo! Hoy vengo con otra batalla de productos, esta vez no son supuestos clones sino aceites de la misma línea pero con diferente textura. Se trata de los aceites desmaquillantes de The Body Shop de la línea de Camomila para pieles incluso sensibles, uno en formato manteca y otro en formato líquido ¿Cuál ganará?
Para hacer la reseña más rápida clasificaré los productos como "el aceite" y "la manteca" por las texturas y por el propio nombre.
Esta reseña la dividiré por características explicando lo que me ha parecido cada una y qué producto gana en cada sección y al final diré cuál me convence más en general.
Hello again! Today I come with another battle of products, this time are not just clones but oils of the same line but with different texture. These are Cleansing oils from The Body Shop of the Chamomile line for even sensitive skins, one in butter texture and the other in liquid format. Which one will win?
To make the quickest review, I will classify the products as "oil" and "butter" for the textures and for the name itself.
This review will divide by characteristics explaining what I found in each one and what product wins in each section and at the end I will say which convinces me more generally.
OLOR/SCENT:
En cuanto al olor es muy peculiar, el que lo haya olido lo sabrá.
El aceite huele mucho más a aceite (lógico) y la manteca huele más a la esencia propia de la línea.
Ganador → Manteca: El aceite al oler más aceitoso me desagrada un poquito. La manteca huele genial.
As for the smell, it is very peculiar, the one who has smelled it will know what I'm talking about.
The oil smells much more like... eeeh... oil (logical) and the butter smells more to the essence of the line.
Winner → Butter: As the oil have an oily smell dislikes me a little. The butter smells great.
TEXTURA/TEXTURE:
Claramente ya por la denominación de cada producto existen dos tipos de texturas: El aceite es líquido, un líquido aceitoso.
En cambio la manteca es sólida y en contacto con la piel se vuelve aceite.
Ganador → Manteca: Me gusta mucho cómo la manteca se vuelve aceite aplicándolo en mi piel por lo que me parece más agradable que el aceite pero esto es muy subjetivo.

EFICACIA/EFFECTIVENESS:
Lo que al fin y al cabo es lo que más interesa es la eficacia de los productos.
Vale más una imagen que mil palabras por lo que os dejo las fotos para que valoréis vosotros mismos.
Me parecen completamente iguales en cuanto a la eficacia. Lo que tengo aplicado en el brazo es un Lip Stain de Sephora en el tono 16, es decir, un labial fijo. Me gusta mucho cómo retira el maquillaje.
En la primera foto pongo un poco de producto de cada tipo, en la segunda foto froto en seco y en la tercera ya con agua ha emulsionado y me lo he enjuagado.
Ganador → Igual.
What ultimately matters most is the effectiveness of the products.
It is worth more a picture than a thousand words so I leave the photos for you to value for yourselves.
They seem to me completely equal in effectiveness. What I have applied on the arm is a Lip Stain of Sephora in tone 16, a long-lasting lipstick. I really like how it removes makeup.
In the first photo I apply a little bit of each product, in the second photo I rub in dry and in the third one already with water it has emulsified and I have rinsed it.

Los dos emulsionan completamente igual. No veo diferencia notable.

200 ml por 15 euros.
MANTECA:
90ml por 14 euros.
Ganador → Aceite. La manteca es cierto que da de sí algo más pero trae bastante menos, menos de la mitad incluso que de aceite.
OIL:

BUTTER:
90ml for 14 euros.

Llegamos al final de la reseña y tengo que decir que me ha sorprendido bastante (para mal por desgracia) en este aspecto y es debido al Ethylhexyl Palmitate.
Ganador → Aceite: Como la mayoría sabréis, en una lista de ingredientes los que están en primer lugar son los que se encuentran en mayor cantidad en dicho producto. En el caso de la manteca se encuentra como primer ingrediente, me parece una auténtica barbaridad.
El aceite no se libra ya que también contiene este ingrediente aunque en vez de en primer lugar está en el sexto.
Ya sabéis que actualmente está muy "de moda" el obviar el aceite de palma de los productos que comemos por lo perjudicial que es para nuestro organismo pero lo que mucha gente no sabe (yo hasta hace poco tampoco, no soy ninguna iluminada ni me quiero dar de eso) es que el aceite de palma o derivados también se usan en cosmética muchísimo más de lo que creemos.
En el caso de estos productos nos encontramos con el Ethylhexyl Palmitate, un derivado del aceite de palma que es comedogénico y puede causar irritación en la piel aunque también hay gente que dice que es un ingrediente buenísimo para la piel (a ver a quién hacemos caso).

You know that at the moment it is very "fashionable" to get rid of the oil of palm of the products that we eat by the detriment that is for our organism but what many people do not know (I didn`t know it until recently, I am not an enlightened one nor I want Give that impression) is that palm oil or derivatives are also used in cosmetics much more than we think.
In the case of these products we find the Ethylhexyl Palmitate, a derivative of palm oil that is comedogenic and can cause skin irritation. There are also people who say that it is a wonderful ingredient for the skin.
¿GANADOR?/WINNER?
Sinceramente me ha sorprendido muchísimo que lleven este ingrediente porque no son para nada baratos estos productos.
Si de todas maneras queréis optar por alguno de los dos os aconsejo el aceite ya que tiene menos concentración de este ingrediente.

Pues me llamaba la atención el aceite, pero después de lo del aceite de palma prefiero pasar. No se supone que The Body Shop es una línea que "protege la naturaleza"?

A mi me ha extrañado mucho, he estado mirando otros productos de la marca y no he visto este ingrediente (aunque no todos) pero en estos dos... También he comprobado si de verdad este derivado se sacaba del aceite de palma y por todos sitios ponía que sí. No tiene sentido, me he quedado a cuadros, la verdad!

ResponderEliminarGracias por la información, yo ayer tire a la basura esta manteca limpiadora y otra manteca de mandarina corporal. La mayoría de los productos the body shop que yo tengo, y son unos cuantos tienen ese aceite de palma. Tb estoy decepcionada, no creo que compre nada más . Creo que tiraré todos a la basura pero es una pasta, estoy mirando si este aceite se absorbe en la piel y eso es dañino, o el daño, en caso de cosméticos es ambiental
