Urban Decay Jean-Michel Basquiat Gallery Blush Palette (Reseña/Review)

¡Hola de nuevo! Hoy vengo con una reseña que os puede interesar si este 8 de junio de 2017 queréis aprovechar las rebajas de hasta un 25% en Sephora España. Os traigo una paleta de rostro que me ha enamorado y de la que no me arrepiento nada de haber comprado porque tanto los tonos como la pigmentación y cremosidad es de 10. Esta va a ser la primera entrada desde que tengo una cámara de verdad (que no la del móvil como hasta ahora) así que espero que notéis la calidad.

El producto que vengo a reseñaros es de una colección que ha lanzado Urban decay, un homenaje al artista contemporáneo Jean Michel-Basquiat, al fin y al cabo el maquillaje es arte, ¿No?

The product that I come to review is from a collection that has launched Urban Decay as a tribute to the contemporary artist Jean Michel-Basquiat, after all the makeup is art, right?

La colección consta de dos paletas de sombras de ojos (una con colores muy vivos y vibrantes y otra de colores más neutros), una paleta de rostro que es la que yo tengo y la que voy a reseñaros, tres eyeliners y tres labiales. 

Yo vivo en Sevilla y aunque hay tres tiendas Sephora solamente en una de ellas había esta colección y no estaba entera ya que sólo pude encontrar las dos paletas de sombras y la de rostro, aunque la verdad es que lo demás no me llamaba nada la atención, pienso que de la colección las cositas más especiales son las tres paletas y como sombras de ojos de esos tonos tenía bastantes me decidí por la paleta de rostro ya que me parecía preciosa.

The collection consists of two palettes of eye shadows (one with very vivid and vibrant colors and another with more neutral colors), a palette of face that is the one I have and I will review, three eyeliners and three lipsticks.

I live in Seville and although there are three Sephora stores in only one of them there was this collection and it was not whole since I could only find the two palettes of shadows and the face, but the truth is that the other thing did not call my attention , I think that from the collection the most special things are the three palettes and as I had enough shades of eyes of those tones I decided to buy the face palette since it seemed precious to me.

DISEÑO Y PACKAGING/DESIGN AND PACKAGING:

El diseño como he dicho es un homenaje al artista.

Nos encontramos con una cajita donde viene la paleta que es exactamente igual que la portada de la paleta en sí. Se trata de una especie de ¿Corona? Yo diría que es una corona pero a saber porque el arte es muy subjetivo y eso es lo bonito así que lo dejo a la imaginación de cada uno.

El envase de la paleta está revestida de un material muy agradable al tacto, simulando un lienzo, aunque diría que el envase en sí es de cartón duro (no voy a ser la que lo abra para averiguarlo) 😂

Lo más curioso es que en la parte de atrás de la paleta viene una muesca por si queremos colgar la paleta a modo de cuadro. Me ha encantado ese detalle y si en algún momento se nos acaba el producto me parece genial poder darle otro uso (con producto también se puede colgar pero personalmente estaría más pendiente de que no se cayera por cualquier motivo surrealista que de disfrutar del cuadro en sí). Como véis no le falta un solo detalle, ni al espejo.

The design as I said is a tribute to Jean Michel-Basquiat and since he is an artist the designs is logically based on his works, that is, his style.

We find a box where comes the palette that is exactly the same as the cover of the palette itself. It is a kind of Crown? I would say that it is a crown but it can't be known for sure because the art is very subjective and that is the pretty thing so I leave it to the imagination of each one.

The packaging of the pallet is coated with a very pleasant material to the touch, simulating a canvas, although I would say that the packaging itself is hardboard (I will not be the one to open it to find out) 😂

The most curious thing is that in the back of the palette comes a notch in case we want to hang the palette as a painting. I loved this detail and if at any time we run out of the product it seems great to be able to give it another use (with product can also be hung but personally would be more aware that it would not fall to the ground than enjoying the painting.

SWATCHES:

Como cualquier edición limitada de Urban Decay no desponían de tester en la tienda para poder probar o mínimo ver cómo pigmentaba el producto así que sí, me arriesgué, pero teniendo en cuenta que estamos hablando de una marca como UD no tenía duda alguna de que iba a ser de una calidad excepcional como la de todos los productos que tengo de la misma marca.

Like any limited edition Urban Decay did not put a tester in the store to test or see how was the pigments of the product, so I took the risk, but considering that we are talking about a brand like UD I hadn't doubt about it was going to be of an exceptional quality like all the products that I have of the same brand.

La paleta cuenta con cuatro tonos: dos coloretes, un bronceador y un iluminador. No me voy a repetir en cada tono con el tema de que pigmentan muy bien y es un producto muy sedoso. Todos los tonos los son sin excepción.

The palette has four tones: two blushes, a bronzer and an illuminator. All tones without exception are very silky and have a very good pigmentation.

• X-Rated: Un tono rosa barbie muy bonito aunque no poco común, en mi opinión es el menos especial de la paleta y el menos pigmentado porque al ser un tono más clarito suele pasar que cueste más pero también me encanta y prefiero que los productos de rostro no pigmenten tampoco una barbaridad porque te facilita muchísimo el trabajo a la hora de integrarlo con la piel y que no queden parches ni cortes.// A barbie pink tone very nice although not uncommon, in my opinion is the least special of the palette and the less pigmented because being a clearer tone usually happens that it's more difficult to get a heavier pigmentation but I also love and I prefer that the face products do not pigment a lot because it facilitates you very much the work to integrate it with the skin and that there are no patches or cuts.

• Now’s The Time: El único iluminador de la paleta y vaya iluminador. Es precioso. Tiene un tono doradito y no tiene nada de purpurina ni dentro ni a la luz del sol (por lo menos no le veo ninguna y soy muy tiquismiquis con eso). Estoy muy enamorada de este iluminador, de verdad. // The only highlighter on the palette and what a highlighter. It's beautiful. It has a golden hue and has no glitter in the house or in the sunlight (at least I do not see any and I'm very fond of it), I'm very in love with this highlighter, really.

• Jawbone: El único bronceador de la paleta y tiene una intensidad que es bastante modulable, en mi opinión le puede servir a muchos tipos de pieles, a mi no me deja un bronceado muy exagerado si lo trabajo con cuidado y soy bastante pálida. El tono no serviría para hacer contouring porque es algo anaranjado cosa que no me importa porque es un bronceador y me encanta ese tipo de tono para eso mismo. // The only bronzer of the palette and has an intensity that is quite modulable, in my opinion can serve many types of skins, I do not leave a very exaggerated tan if I work it with care and I am quite pale. The tone would not serve to do contouring because it is something orange thing that I do not care because it is a bronzer and I love that kind of tone for that very thing.

• Noho: El último colorete de la paleta (en total dos). Se trata de un tono rosa que depende de la luz se ve moradito (al principio en fotos pensaba que el tono era morado, tal cual). Lo definiría como un fucsia tirando a morado. Es un tono precioso. // The last blush of the palette (in total two). It is a pink tone that depends on the light looks dark (at first in photos I thought the tone was purple, just like it would define it as a fuchsia to purple.

Tanto los dos coloretes como el bronceador son de acabado mate y como ya digo, al iluminador no le veo purpurina.

Both the blush and the bronzer are matte finish and as I say, I can't see glitter in the highlighter.

DURACIÓN/DURATION:

Toda la paleta tiene una duración buenísima como cualquier producto en polvo que he comprado de esta marca, para los que la conocéis no creo que haga falta decir mucho más.

Me dura perfectamente las 8 horas que suelo estar maquillada aunque también la duración de este tipo de productos depende mucho de la base que llevemos y de lo que hayamos trabajado la piel tanto antes de maquillarla como en el proceso en sí.

The whole palette lasts like any powdered product I bought from this brand, for those who know it I do not think that much more is needed.

It lasts perfectly the 8 hours that I usually wear make up, but also the duration of this type of products depends a lot on the foundation that we take and how we have worked the skin both before makeup and in the process itself.

PRECIO Y DESCUENTO A PARTIR DEL DÍA 8 DE JUNIO DE 2017 (ESPAÑA):

El precio de esta paleta es de 34€ en Sephora España. No está en la página web Sephora.es sino que ha llegado a algunas tiendas de algunas ciudades solamente (como os comentaba en Sevilla habían llegado a una de las tres tiendas que tenemos).

Yo me la compré aprovechando un cupón de descuento del 10% que tenía acumulado en mi tarjeta y me salió por 30,60€ que para estar hablando de una paleta de Urban Decay me parece hasta un buen precio aunque para el que no esté acostumbrado a este mundo dirá que vaya barbaridad, lo entiendo. Pero bueno, cada uno tiene sus vicios 😂

Lo que os comentaba del descuento por si lo queréis aprovechar es que a partir del día 8 de junio y hasta el 18 de este mismo mes (2017) tenéis un 20% de descuento en todo Sephora España excepto para los productos de parafarmacia ni Chanel (según están diciendo) y si os gastáis en una compra más de 150€ tenéis hasta un 25% de descuento. Os dejo los códigos si queréis beneficiaros de los descuentos pero desde la tienda online:

- SOLOPARATI20 -> 20% de descuento sin mínimo de compra.
- SOLOPARATI25 -> 25% de descuento por más de 150 euros de compra.

Si aprovecháis el descuento del 20% os saldría por 27,20€ y si ya aprovecháis el del 25% os saldría por 25,50€. Vosotros allá  (parece que Sephora me paga o algo, ojalá jajaja).
